The show takes a look at the life and the short-lived career of Aaliyah with never before seen behind-the-scenes footage and intimate conversations with the family and friends.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of Aaliyah’s death; the rising R&B singer-movie star was killed in a plane crash on August 25, 2001 in the Bahamas after a music video shoot.
The special airs on Thursday, August 25 at 8pm.
