It Wont Stop by Sevyn Streeter (Guest Blogger)
With a void of female artist who probably will never ever chart on the billboard hot 100 because they continue to release music that is perfect only for 106 & Park we have found one who is willing to fill that void. Sevyn Streeter is a (ex)member of the girl group Rich Girl and she has just released her second single It Wont Stop and just like the first single I like It the song is good not only lyrically but vocally and the production value is amazing. Taking a different direction from the first single with a sexy ballad with a hard enough beat for even the toughest thugs to bump in their cars you can tell she has her musical influences. The first line of the song (I love when your pulling up in your jeep/ Bumping all your beats) draws you in the way that Aaliyah would or how Ciara does and even how one day Kelly Rowland will. This track is reminiscent of what R&B music is missing with its smooth vibe and sexy groove. In the song Sevyn is telling someone that he might run the "streets" but thats not how he can get to Ms.Streeter. He may do a lot of things right but there are a couple things that she has to put him in check about. The song is scheduled to be on Sevyns debut solo album which will hopefully be out soon.
