The staff toured almost every major city in the DR including Santo Domingo, Puerta Plata, Juan Dolio, and Boca Chica, and Punta Cana. When we arrived to the breath-taking Melia Caribe Tropical in Punta Cana, it was love at first sight. Words cannot describe the beauty of this resort; seeing is truly believing. PHF was one of the leading organization to provide medical relief in Haiti by sending over 100 physicians, 75 nurses, medical supplies, food, and pharmaceuticals to aid those injured.
