2008 Year In Review

Well the year 2008 is coming to a close and 2009 is almost upon us but before we party our way into the new year i wanted to go back in time and remeber the year that was. Well today makes a year in the nations capital for me and even though its been a bump ride i am glad i did make the move and i am goin to continue to keep my head up.

The year started out with the Daryl Wilson Red Party back in Febrary on President's Day Weekend where i partied with Tiffany Pollard aka "New York" followed by parting in philly with Tron from www.whatsthet.com for philly black pride. That was a good weekend of fun. Memorial Weekend here in DC was very different to say the least and if you follow this blog i did talk about it, but thats the past and i hold no more ill regards to that situation but here is video of some of the events at the 930 clubhttp://andresflava.blogspot.com/2008/08/strip-off-dc-style_06.html .

Moving on July was pure madness as Charlotte Black Pride weekend was just plain Stupid is all i can say, just sheer madness. DJ SEDRICK "House Muther" did his thang especially on saturday night for his big birthday party. http://www.andresflava.blogspot.com/2008/07/spellbound-2008-reviewcharlotte-black.html

August saw the olympic power of Jamaica as the dominated the olympics with sheer force. As well as political coverage of the Democratic National Convention which was held in Denver with Barack Obama officially being nominated as our nominee.

September saw the traditional labor day madness in Atlanta for Atlanta Black Gay Pride and this year i didnt attend but media correspondent King D did and u can see his coverage here http://andresflava.blogspot.com/2008/09/atlanta-black-gay-pride-2008-extended.html and also i had correspondents Moe out of New Jersey cover and here is his coverage here http://andresflava.blogspot.com/2008/09/2008-atlanta-black-gay-pride-weekend.html and media partner lonnell williams of www.lonnellwilliams.blogspot.com coverage here http://andresflava.blogspot.com/2008/09/atlanta-black-gay-pride-2008-extended.html
