2008 Official Summer Takeover Review

The Official Summer Takeover in DC took place over the weekend. And it was a success. hundreds came out to support a great cause HIV/AIDS and proceeds went to 2 local agencies. Whitman Walker Clinic and Planned Parenthood. Estimates were still being tallied from the weekend and no official word on how much was raised. Friday night the fashion show was very nice and alot of people were in attendance. Comedian Mike Brooks from BET, actor Dave Bougin, were some of the celebs in the building. Media outlets Bleu Magazine was in the house. and the event was hosted by America's Next Top Model Winner Toccara who looked faboulous in person. I was unable to attend saturday events due to personal loss i was dealing with but sources says the events were well attended but celebrity host Raz-B was unable to make the event that evening. Sunday DC came out to show love to Jensen Atwood of Noah's Arc who was signing autographs from his calendar. Thanks to Antonio Brown, Shaun Wright-Verdum and everyone who helped to make 2008 Official Summer Takeover a huge success.
