Baltimore City State’s Attorney Marilyn J. Mosby announced the office has probable cause to file criminal charges against Baltimore Police officers in the death of Freddie Gray. The announcement was made Friday morning, the day after the SAO received the police department’s file on its investigation into Gray’s death. Giving details on the arrest, Mosby said the officers "failed to establish probable cause for Mr. Gray's arrest" and "illegally arrested Mr. Gray." The charges against the six officers include involuntary manslaughter, assault, misconduct in office. A warrant was issued for their arrest Friday morning.
