Angelo Taylor ran a personal-best time of 47.25 seconds, ahead of teammates Kerron Clement and Bershawn Jackson, who took the silver and bronze respectively in 47.98 and 48.06. This is first sweep of the event since the United States did it in 1960. Angelo Taylor,lead a medals sweep in the 400-meter hurdles.
