Jennifer Hudson does her best Olivia Pope impression in this hilarious Funny or Die Scandal spoof.

In the clip, Lydia Cole thinks she's been tasked with fixing a number of salacious scandals around Washington, D.C. Unfortunately, she only finds her self sharing information about the Affordable Care Act.

This creative public service announcement is just one of many Hollywood-Obama joint initiatives to persuade young Americans to sign up for coverage this year.

Synopsis
In a contemporary adaptation of Langston Hughes' celebrated play, the holiday musical drama BLACK NATIVITY follows Langston (Jacob Latimore), a street-wise teen from Baltimore raised by a single mother, as he journeys to New York City to spend the Christmas holiday with his estranged relatives Reverend Cornell and Aretha Cobbs (Forest Whitaker and Angela Bassett). Unwilling to live by the imposing Reverend Cobbs' rules, a frustrated Langston is determined to return home to his mother, Naima (Jennifer Hudson). Langston embarks on a surprising and inspirational journey and along with new friends, and a little divine intervention, he discovers the true meaning of faith, healing, and family.

This past weekend I attended the 2013 Urban World Film Festival here in nyc and had a great time covering the red carpet and also I enjoyed watching several good independent movies in the process. The five-day festival was held September 18-22 and concluded today with an awards reception at Tribeca Grill Loft hosted by style and beauty expert Tai Beauchamp and actor/producer Gbenga Akinnagbe. Urbanworld, which screened 60 films this year (including 4 world premieres and 2 U.S. premieres), is the largest internationally competitive festival dedicated to the exhibition of independent cinema by and about people of color.
